After much discussion and research the promoters of the Temecula Rod Run has decided to go back to the "Old Days". With this in mind there is one major change only pre 1974 cars and trucks will be allowed to enter. The promoters, P&R Foundation, will have the final say in allowing a "Special Interest Vehicle" into the show.

The promoters is also looking for more auto relater sponsores and vendors to participate in the Rod Run. As many as 700 pre-1974 hot rod cars and trucks from throughout the western United States are expected to attend the show, which will cater to families by offering old time street entertainment, vendors and food in addition to the weekend "Show and Shine". Events will give the more than 60,000 visitors a chance to talk with the car owners and their families. Local clubs and organizations will benefit from the special event through contributions from proceeds of the show and the opportunity to set up informational booths for the public. Participating Old Town Temecula restaurants and merchants will offer food, beverages and special shopping buys for visitors. Get your reservations early for this great show.
